Synectics Introduces Facial Recognition And Expands Presence

Synectics Solutions, a UK-based fraud intelligence company, is significantly expanding its flagship Synergy software platform with the introduction of facial recognition and forensic search functions. These enhancements are designed to boost the platform’s existing capabilities, offering more efficient, accurate, and faster security management. The facial recognition feature integrates with Synergy’s built-in person of interest tools, providing a unified interface for improved incident management. The forensic search feature, powered by generative AI, further enhances the platform’s search capabilities, streamlining access to relevant information by connecting seamlessly with Synergy’s existing security management tools.

The company is previewing these advanced features at Intersec 2025 in Dubai, scheduled for January 14 to 16. Synectics is also showcasing its COEX camera arrays, which come equipped with built-in analytics capabilities to enhance surveillance and security monitoring. The integration of these innovative features reflects Synectics’ ongoing efforts to stay ahead of the curve in the rapidly evolving security technology market.

In addition to technological advancements, Synectics is also strengthening its presence in the Middle East by opening an office in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This move is part of the company’s strategy to expand its footprint and support growing demand for its products and services in the region.

On the business front, Synectics has secured four major contracts, collectively worth $2.7 million, with customers in the gaming sector. Among the new clients are two prominent gaming resorts in the Philippines, which have chosen Synergy for its comprehensive feature set and customization capabilities. Additionally, Synectics has expanded its long-standing relationship with PENN Entertainment, securing new contracts to deploy Synergy at two of its casinos. With these installations, Synergy will now be live at 25 PENN Entertainment properties, underscoring the platform’s growing adoption and success in the gaming industry.

These strategic developments, both in terms of technological innovation and market expansion, position Synectics Solutions as a key player in the security and fraud intelligence sector, particularly in the Middle East and gaming markets.
