Regnology, a leading provider of regulatory reporting solutions, has announced the acquisition of VERMEG’s regulatory reporting division, AGILE, which was previously part of Lombard Risk’s portfolio. This acquisition strengthens Regnology’s position as a global leader in end-to-end regulatory reporting solutions, aimed at large banks and financial institutions seeking comprehensive and innovative offerings from a trusted provider.
The AGILE solution suite, which supports over 150 global banks across the UK, Europe, Asia Pacific, and North America, will be integrated into Regnology’s platform. This will allow Regnology to deliver flexible, end-to-end reporting solutions, covering data management, report generation, and submission, all powered by advanced cloud technology. The acquisition aligns with Regnology’s mission to enhance automation, improve data flow, and facilitate the transition to granular data reporting.
With this move, Regnology expands its international presence, enhancing its local expertise in key regions. The acquisition follows Regnology’s recent purchase of CG3-1 and will support reporting for various financial entities, including Tier 1 banks, broker-dealers, and community banks in North America. Regnology also strengthens its position in the APAC market, where it serves banks in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia.
Regnology’s CEO, Rob Mackay, highlighted that this consolidation is a significant milestone in their growth, enabling a global footprint in regulatory reporting and furthering their leadership in supervisory collections. He emphasized the company’s commitment to investing in technology and leveraging new locations to modernize legacy reporting systems on a global scale.
Badreddine Ouali, VERMEG’s Founder and Co-CEO, expressed confidence that the integration with Regnology would provide AGILE with broader growth opportunities, while allowing VERMEG to focus on its core strengths in Collateral Management and Insurance. Lutz Kregel of Nordic Capital Advisors also expressed excitement over Regnology’s ongoing transformation and its potential to create a global leader in regulatory reporting.
