GJD unveils new wireless integration tech at TSE24

GJD, a leader in perimeter protection and intruder detection solutions, is excited to participate in The Security Event 2024 (TSE24), a premier gathering for security professionals in the UK. Set to unveil at the NEC in Birmingham from April 30th to May 2nd, 2024, GJD will introduce the LX LoRa Connect, its latest innovation designed to revolutionize the security installation industry.

The LX LoRa Connect leverages LoRa technology to facilitate ultra-long-range, wireless system integration, offering unmatched flexibility and reliability. This new system stands out by connecting a wide range of devices, including sensors, illuminators, and alarm sounders, over distances up to 10 kilometers, even through buildings and other obstructions. Capable of supporting up to 500 devices, it eliminates the need for costly data cables and expanders, making it a cost-effective solution for security installers.

Dr. Rod Wilson, GJD’s Group Chief Technology Officer, highlights the LX LoRa Connect as a testament to GJD’s commitment to exceeding security professionals’ expectations with innovative solutions. This system not only simplifies installation processes but also offers enhanced functionality and control, providing a competitive edge for installers and delivering scalable, long-range solutions for challenging environments.

Attendees of TSE24 are invited to GJD’s stand 5/K100, where they can engage with security experts and witness live demonstrations of the LX LoRa Connect among other products. These demonstrations will showcase how GJD’s solutions address real-world security challenges, enhance video analytics, and reduce false alarms.

James M. Viscardi, Executive Vice President of Global Sales, emphasizes the event as a valuable opportunity for direct engagement with installers from the UK and Europe, aiming to share expertise, present product innovations, and collaborate on meeting the security industry’s evolving demands.

In addition to the LX LoRa Connect, GJD will also display its wide range of external detectors and illuminators, including precision laser sensors, external IP detectors, quad PIR detectors, and various illuminator options. Trusted by global security installers in diverse and challenging environments, GJD’s commitment to quality, innovation, and installer satisfaction has established the company as a trusted partner in securing properties ranging from residential to critical infrastructure since its founding in 1983.
